From Manila, the Philipine capital, you take a 45-minute flight to Legazpi. Or travelers may opt to take the 11-hr bus ride (Not that comfortable). From Legazpi, take a tricycle to to the Satellite Terminal where you take a van to Donsol.
Fee 65pesos/head (US$1.50).
Or take a private service car costs about P1500 ($31) Van is recommended for large groups. The trip takes about 1.5 hours.
You may stay at Aguluz Homestay, a 2-minute walk from the terminal where shuttles drop off passengers. They are located only 10-minutes by tricycle from the Whale Shark Interaction Tourism Center (trike tour aboutP20/head).
To get around within the province, taxicabs, for-hire cars, air-conditioned buses, jeepneys, and tricycles are readily available at all hours of the day. One can do an exotic city tour on the ubiquitous 2-passenger tricycles. For-hire motorized bancas are also available for Whale shark/Butanding Interaction, diving, swimming, island-hopping or sport fishing.
